CDC Tour Information

The CDC (Centers for Disease Control & Prevention) will be offering tours to attendees of the APHN Conference.

When the CDC gets the call to assist in a public health emergency, the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) is ready to respond.  CDC’s EOC brings together teams of highly trained experts and state-of-the-art technology to coordinate response to public health threats such as Ebola, Zika, or natural disasters.

Even when there is no specific public health threat, the EOC has dedicated staff monitoring information, helping to keep us safe 24/7.

Tour dates and approximate timeframes are listed below.  If you are interested in a tour, please indicate this at registration.  You will receive an email prior to the conference asking you to select your tour date timeframe preferences.  Tours will be assigned on an availability basis.  Because of CDC security requirements, you must join the tour group to which you are assigned.
